[Obit] Robert Asprin
Robert Asprin, author of the Time Scout, Thieves' World, Phule, and Myth Adventures series, passed away this afternoon. He died of natural causes while sleeping. He was 62.
This makes me sad... I always loved the Myth and Thieves' World books when I was younger; I still have a complete set of the Myth Adventures books.

Potlatch in 2006 became a kind of impromptu wake for Octavia Butler; she wasn't a GoH, but she was local (and friend to many who were there) and was supposed to meet folks for a late lunch... :(
