Tabletop musings

So, for a while I have been running the Othernight campaign online. It's been a success with the players when we get to play, but organizing online roleplaying has been a challenge at best, sometimes. And I do miss both the regularity and the comaraderie of an in-person tabletop game.

The problem is, I don't know if I can find enough Seattle-area tabletoppers who would want to play something plot/character centric as opposed to just 'roll dice and kill things'. (I don't do pure dungeon-crawls.) I usually try to tailor my campaigns to the interests of my players...which means I need to find my player-base before I can start planning the campaign.

Grump! I guess I should just start trying to look.

I'm definitely interested in doing tabletop RP in real life. Let me know if you find enough other players!

Did I mention that my husband STs, and has been wanting a chance to be a player again for literally years? ;)

I play, of course.

You know what to do!
But there's going to be at least -some- rolling dice and killing things, right? :>

I guess the solution is that you'll simply have to move to the Southeast, where there are tabletoppers in abundance?

There's something wrong with the word "tabletopper" I think. It sounds a bit like something you might see in a sleazy restaurant.

Random muse off. :)
